Yuma Clinic Series November
2011-April 2012 What: Alternative Horsemanship with Samantha Harvey Clinic Series Where: Private facility- E County 14th St. between 1E and 2E, Yuma Easy access just south of the airport- email or call for directions When: Second Weekend of each month November 2011-April 2012 November 12th & 13th * December 10th & 11th * January 14th & 15th February 11th & 12th *March 10th & 11th *April 14th & 15th Topic: Effective Horsemanship & Riding Creating mental availability in your horse in order to build a trusting partnership for a rewarding ride. Visit www.learnhorses.com or blog http://learnhorses.blogspot.com for more on Sam’s training & theories. All level horses & riders, all disciplines. Each clinic will have a unique feel depending on the participants that weekend. Does your horse “hang” on the bit? Is he “pushy” on the ground? Is your horse dull to your aids? Do you feel like you are “surviving” the ride? Would you like to learn how to “finesse” your ride? Does your horse feel like a “ticking bomb?” Do you and or your horse have fear/anxiety issues? Are you not sure “where to go next” in your with your and your horse’s education? Do you understand how why, what, where and how you use your aids? Are you “hopeful” that your horse will understand what you want? Do you feel like you have to keep “repeating a lesson” that you’ve presented to your horse? Would you like an overall assessment? These are just a few of the common problems people write to my Ask the Trainer forum, come for lessons, participate in my Full Immersion Clinics or send their horse for training to address… Use a weekend clinic(s) to raise your level of awareness, learn how to assess, and understand how to clearly communicate to give you and your horse a “jump start” in a clear direction to help achieve your horsemanship goals.
